This workshop produced some really great material.  The topic and
discussion was directed at creating and maintaining a 2 gal Shimpaku

Everyone getting started with their stock material.  Not too long after
removing them from their nursery cans.
Explaining design principles of why and which branches should be
removed.
Showing students how to "clean up" a tree.  Which needles to remove so
you can get wire on.
After removing a long straight branch on the right side of the tree she
slowly wires all the remaining branches in preparation for final shaping.
After all the wire is installed on the branches.  It is now time to do the
final wiring....
What a great transformation.  This tree has a great future ahead of it.  
Spring will bring it a new pot and some filling in.
Steve getting all the wire on.  His initial design was an informal upright,
but he seen another direction in the tree...
A very nice windswept... Inspired by a recent trip to St. Simons Island,
Ga.  Great Job!
