Kingsville Boxwood - just removed form the 2 gal pot.  Sep. 2005
June 2006, potted it in spring but didn't do any major crown work until now.
I am slowly removing lots of the small shoots on the inside and beginning
to put wire on some of the branches.  Starting on the right side...
I tilted the pot some to the right, selected the new growing angle.  Wired
and pulled down the two branches on the right side.  To OPEN it up if you
will.  Make a more "Live Oak" style.
I have moved to the left side to pull down on these branches some.  You
have to be very careful wiring Kingsville's.  There skin is very thin and can
be damaged easily.
Removed some more in the front middle to show more of the branching.
Some more of the crown is reduced to make a tighter image.  Some on the
rear has been removed as well.
Picture to come...
Once i was finished I carefully lifted the tree from the pot and changed
the angle slightly.
A close up of the branch and crown.  I still need to put some movement in
the long straight branch in the front middle.  But that will come later...
